A Record of Service

🇺🇳
UN Pilot Project — Dominican Republic
A leading role in a United Nations pilot project, in the country where we now run our longest-standing immersion.
🏕
UN High Commissioner for Refugees — Ethiopia
Collaboration on health and wellness work with refugee populations.
🕊
Peace Corps — Hungary
The service that started it, and the reason this organization exists. Three Returned Peace Corps Volunteers now serve on our team.
🏥
Health Education Across Three Countries
Directing health education and service initiatives in Belize, Nicaragua, and Hungary, and health and wellness initiatives across South America and Africa.
🎓
Academic Grounding
Doctoral research on sustainable behavior change, and service-learning courses and internships developed across diverse healthcare settings.
On the Ground

Year-Round Local Leadership

We do not fly in. In every country we operate, someone who lives there leads the work all year — which is why the projects our participants join are projects the community itself asked for.

Dominican Republic
Our Director of Global Programs directed operations across the DR for nearly twenty years before joining us, and still runs them.
Belize
Our Country Director lives in Belize full time and is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer.
Costa Rica
In-country coordinators handle logistics, safety, and community liaison on the ground for every cohort.
U.S. 501(c)(3) Public Charity

EIN 93-3620516. Our IRS determination letter and most recent Form 990-N are published, not on request.
