Yes! Beyond published immersion dates, we provide a flagship opportunity for students, campus clubs, institutions, and mission-focused organizations to create their own immersion experience. Your experience can be customized to align with your academic calendar, service focus, learning objectives, cohort size, and institutional goals. You are not limited to existing dates. Contact info@help2serve.care to start building your custom immersion.

Absolutely! We invite students to create HELP2SERVE Global | Help2Serve.Care Campus Clubs. We provide step-by-step support including a Campus Club Playbook, leadership training, branding materials, interest meeting templates, and ongoing mentorship. Visit the Campus Clubs page to learn more and apply to become a founding student leader.

Help2Serve.Care programs begin with a structured 2-week service-learning immersion supported through Help2Serve.Care. Following service, participants most often continue into Beyond the Project — a 1-week phase of guided cultural exploration and experiential adventure designed to deepen reflection, cultural context, and understanding. Total: 3 weeks all-inclusive.

For participants choosing the full Signature 21-Day Immersion, the combined 2026–2027 cost is typically $3,800–$4,800, excluding airfare, visa costs, and required travel insurance. Participants who choose a different program configuration receive pricing specific to the components selected. This covers all accommodation, meals, transportation, service project materials, mentorship, safety systems, pre-departure orientation, academic documentation, and ongoing support. $500 Deposit · refund terms apply. Your exact total is provided in your official acceptance email. No hidden fees. View pricing & inclusions →

Phase One (14-day service immersion) + Phase Two (optional 7-day cultural exploration) currently available: Summer 2027 (June–August), Winter 2027/28 (Dec–Jan). Early Planning Applications open for 2028, 2029 and 2030. Help2Serve.Care publishes program dates approximately 1 year in advance. For programs more than 1 year out, Early Planning Applications allow you to request priority placement, with a refundable deposit until 45 days before departure (subject to our refund terms).

We exist to create sustained behavior change — within volunteers and the communities we serve — through meaningful global service grounded in decades of trusted experience. By delivering structured, immersive, safe, and well-supported service-learning experiences — we transform perspective, purpose, and community support systems.

Yes — and academic credit support is available for both the Integrated Immersion and the Single-Track Specialized pathway. You arrange independent study credit with your academic advisor; Help2Serve.Care provides course syllabi, on-site evaluations by your project leader, and full documentation of service hours, focus-area hours, and reflection work. The standard course syllabus option has a $100 fee; a custom evaluation costs $50. Begin the conversation with your advisor early — our leadership is glad to support your conversation with documentation, learning objectives, or faculty letters as needed.

A valid U.S. passport is required for all international programs. Visa requirements depend on your country of origin and your citizenship status, and they can change periodically—so it is important to know your requirements well before departure. Some destinations require an electronic travel authorization even for U.S. citizens, so check your specific destination’s requirements. Aim to have all travel documents in hand 60 days before departure, and no later than 45 days prior. Also remember that most countries require your passport to remain valid for at least six months beyond your return date, and that requirement varies by destination. Our team is available throughout your preparation process.

Vaccine recommendations should be reviewed and approved by your primary care provider and, if needed, an international travel clinic that can coordinate with your primary care office. That ensures you are vaccinated according to current medical guidelines and in accordance with your own health history. Our team is available throughout your preparation process.

Every participant receives a post-acceptance manual, written in detail for your specific destination. It covers your deposit due dates and payment plan arrangements; the travel insurance details required of all participants; whether you are traveling on a group flight or arranging your own—details will be provided for both options including the designated airport to travel to and the arrival time stipulations that go with it; and what happens once you land—your first in-country orientation and the onward travel to your first overnight destination in the host country.

For deposits for accepted applicants only, you will receive a payment link in your acceptance email to provide your deposit. Your $500 deposit is payable to Help2Serve.Care (Program & Payment Transparency) and is due within 60 days of acceptance or 60 days before departure, whichever comes first. If accepted fewer than 60 days before departure, it is due within 72 hours. Change of mind: cancel within 24 hours of paying and we refund the full $500, no fee. After 24 hours, up to 45 days before departure: we refund $485. We retain a 3% processing fee ($15) because card processing fees on the original payment are not returned to us. Within 45 days of departure: the deposit is not refunded, but is applied to a rescheduled immersion within two years. The manual confirms your own dates. Participants on a customized program also receive an individual manual specific to their group, with additional program planning details. A second manual, the pre-departure manual, follows approximately three weeks before departure.

In addition, after your initial deposit—you’ll be encouraged to opt in to your cohort’s private social platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, BAND, and/or GroupMe), created exclusively for your specific group—such as Help2Serve.Care | Belize | June 27–July 18, 2027. Most importantly, these private spaces are designed to help participants connect, get to know one another, and begin building a positive sense of community well before departure. Throughout the pre-departure period, we’ll also use the platform for introductions, updates, opportunities for conversation and reflection, and helpful information such as.

  • Preparation checklist
  • Pre-Orientation dates
  • Flights and arrival options, including arrival and departure information
  • Packing and insurance reminders
  • Service-learning information
  • Cultural preparation
  • Questions and Answer Platform
  • And a dedicated space for pre-, during-, and post-immersion connection, photo sharing, and reflection.

Also we will use WhatsApp group more often shortly before departure for:

  • Airport coordination
  • Flight delays
  • Daily meeting times
  • Location updates
  • Important in-country messages.

Please know our team is available throughout your preparation process.

Beyond the pre-acceptance materials described separately — your pre-departure manual is the second of two manuals—it follows the post-acceptance manual and provides comprehensive guidance on packing lists and all logistics specific to your destination.

Orientation is held approximately three weeks before departure by video conference, with your entire cohort together, and includes a full Q&A session to address any remaining questions.

We will continue to encourage your participation in your cohort’s private social platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, BAND, and/or GroupMe), created exclusively for your specific group—such as Help2Serve.Care | Belize | June 27–July 18, 2027. Most importantly, these private spaces are designed to help participants connect, get to know one another, and begin building a positive sense of community well before departure. Absolutely. English is Belize’s official language, U.S. dollars are widely accepted, and international flights make getting there straightforward. Like any destination abroad, some areas require additional caution. Help2Serve.Care plans our itineraries with this in mind, with organized transportation and an experienced in-country team, and detailed safety protocols in place that are prioritized daily—so you can focus on serving, exploring, and experiencing the best of Belize.

No. Belize is English-speaking. Kriol and Spanish are widely spoken as well, and cultural orientation covers the local language environment, but no second language is required to participate fully.
