Ambassador Program

Bring your people. We'll get you there.

You don't need a institutional program โ€” just a few people and a reason. Ambassadors rally a group of friends, classmates, or teammates around one life-changing immersion. You gain real leadership experience, recognition, and a story that changes your trajectory โ€” and as your group grows, more of your own experience is covered. We hand you everything you need.

What an Ambassador Is

You don't need a program. You need a few people and a reason.

An ambassador is a student who organizes a group โ€” not a chartered institutional program. It's lighter, faster, and entirely yours. You gather the people, we carry the logistics, and together you step into one of our immersions in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, or Belize. It's the simplest way to lead, and one of the most rewarding.

Rally a group

Invite friends, classmates, or teammates around one shared experience. There's no charter to file and no committee to form โ€” just you, bringing people who'd thrive in this.

Lead the experience

You're the organizer and the on-the-ground leader for your group. Our in-country team runs every logistic, so you can focus on your people and the work.

Grow as a leader

Recruiting, organizing, and leading a group is real leadership โ€” the kind that reshapes a rรฉsumรฉ and a life, and the kind we recognize formally.

Looking to build something lasting and chartered on your site instead? That's our Institutional Programs path โ€” a great fit if you want an official, renewable organization. Not sure which is right? A quick conversation will sort it out.

What You Earn

The more you bring, the more of your own experience is covered.

Leading a group is real charitable work, so we honor it with an honorarium toward your own immersion. The Ambassador honorarium is graduated: as your group grows, the honorarium toward your own program cost grows with it โ€” up to fully covered when you bring a full group. Cost should never be the reason a leader can't lead.

Bring a few
Partial honorarium
Gather a small handful of peers and earn a partial honorarium toward your own program cost.
Bring a small group
Larger honorarium
As your group grows, so does the honorarium โ€” covering a meaningful share of your own experience.
Bring a full group
Fully covered
Lead a full group and your own participation is fully covered. Lead, and go for free.

Exact group sizes and honorarium levels are confirmed when you apply โ€” and we'll help you plan toward the tier you're aiming for. On top of the honorarium, we help your whole group fundraise, so cost isn't the thing that stops anyone.

Leadership & Professional Growth

This is a leadership role โ€” and it looks like one on paper.

Being a Student Site Ambassador isn't a favor you do for us. It's an opportunity that pays you back in experience, recognition, and growth you can carry into any career.

How It Works

There's nothing to prepare and no experience required. We meet you where you are and walk every step with you.

Community-Led
Every project, every site

You are not selling something untested. The programs are run by in-country directors who live where the work happens, and the projects you describe to your site are projects the host communities themselves asked for. Meet the people behind the work โ†’

Our leaders' experience is rooted in decades of international service and educational partnership โ€” so the community relationships you lead people into are already built and already trusted.
